Unlike the other ones I've played, I can move buildings to make new combos without losing the benefits. I'm also not forced to play with other people. It's also great that I can move buildings without too much cost, and prices increases at the shop aren't as bad as the other ones. All in all it's cute, and I like that these guys can have kids !

I've just finished a full 15-Year playthrough (not real-time; I promise!) and I thoroughly enjoyed Dream Town Island. As a big fan of Kairosoft games, this is one of my favourites of the more recent offerings. My one problem is how obscure Combos are in this game. There are so many, but I couldn't really work out how to pull many of them off. This led to stilted progress in terms of my Town rank ups. In previous games, Combos have been a bit more obvious. But maybe I've missed something!

This is probably the Kairosoft game with the most hours of playtime and replayability. I have just finished one play through and can't wait to try it out with the next map. You get to develop your town, watch it grow, watch your citizens get married, and eventually start their own families. It has a lot of content, but it is very easy to understand and is not overwhelming. Highly recommend!

<3 kairosoft, especially their builder games. Was very excited for this one and it's super fun but it also lacks a certain something from their other games. With such a huge amount of space you're given I was expecting more buildings, decor and combos to unlock. (No bridges? No butcher's, nightclubs, bars, etc.? roads with markers??) Unlocked everything quickly and easily and had to repeat buildings many times to fill the town. Plus, wish it was more intuitive to choose residential buildings.

So far so good I've been playing kairosoft games for over a decade, and it's nice to frequently return to the familiarity, yet enjoy small differences, or little changes over time. This game has decent pacing, and the combo system requires fewer buildings than other games. It runs well, no glitching, and the game helps you out a lot if you overspend early on.

I absolutely love it. The research time for the decorations is next to nothing..the new buildings you have to acquire are simple to get, and the tasks to rank up are not impossible to complete. I love the fact that you have free range to decorate where you want ;and you can add more land by removing the water if necessary . This is by far my favorite game you guys have created.

I like Heian City Story, but DTI takes the cake. Rotating angles, building combos, customisable terrain types & heights, many vehiches & pets, generations, search function, and the superior "mass remove" function. Easy to lose hours here. Shorter summary for competitions would be better (prizes & rank upgrade in 1 popup maybe).

I must be not the intended audience. The game has alot of busy work loops. you'll need to micro every citizens relationship, request and contest. At first, it's fun, but by 2 hours in, you'll have 50 of these, that you need to individually accept and watch a cut scene for. The game let's you know when you have 100% chance of competing a task, so why not have an one button solution to this? and with no upkeep cost, I was drowning in resources. I can't menu fast enough to use them.

Wow! So psyched for a new Kairo game I blasted right into it. One of the best yet! Still have a long way to go but it is definitely the best aspects of a variety of the older games. It's really excellent! Update: Second playthrough on 2nd map, best Kairo game ever. I can't wait to see if the next game builds on past mechanics as well as this one.

Overall it's really fun and interesting to play, but the game gets really slow and lagged as you progress throughout (especially after obtaining 7+ rank), so maybe it would be appreciated if that could be fixed.

one of the best mobile games I've ever played. zero ads, no requests for micro transactions. things don't take forever to be built and the town consistently levels up in a very satisfying way. and I love that I can play it in the vertical orientation one handed
